Support the LCI
In August 2025, the LCI’s 5-year grant from the John Templeton Foundation ended. Through the generosity of supporters, the LCI has been able to continue in Latin America and Francophone Africa in 2026 and plans are being made to start one in South Asia. There has also been an LCI program in East Asia, running in 2025-2026, thanks to a generous grant from Equipping Christian Leadership in an Age of Science (ECLAS). IFES is now looking for new supporters to sustain these regionally-led LCI programs, and to support expansion into other IFES regions. Looking for inspiration and ideas about how to integrate your faith with your discipline and engage with your university? Explore our online resource library, which contains materials such as videos, Bible study guides and podcasts developed by Catalysts as part of their LCI-funded projects.
Take the short e-course. Science and Theology Dialogue in IFES Contexts: Gems from the Logos and Cosmos Initiative, which is available in English on the IFES e-learning website. The course features some of the best texts and videos used in our training of Catalysts. The course is self-paced with no moderation or assessment, but it is recommended to complete it within two months. To register, email engagingtheuni@ifesworld.org. Those already registered with IFES e-learning can start the course on this webpage.
Engaging the University
The LCI is part of IFES’ mission of Engaging the University. The Engaging the University global team supports national movements, groups and individuals by providing a network, mentors, resources and a learning community committed to the Gospel and passionate about the University.
We invite you to take a look at the ideas below to see how you can follow our Catalysts’ examples by engaging with your university and your discipline:
- Visit the Engaging the University website for more information about resources and courses including a free, online three-part course, downloadable booklets and a Bible study guide.
- Ask your national movement if there are – or could be – Engaging the University programs or events in your country that can help you engage with the academic life of your university and help you integrate your Christian life with your academic studies.
