Engaging the University
The LCI is part of IFES’ mission of Engaging the University. The Engaging the University global team supports national movements, groups and individuals by providing a network, mentors, resources and a learning community committed to the Gospel and passionate about the University.
The Logos and Cosmos Initiative is currently active in Latin America and Francophone Africa. But regardless of where you live, if you are part of an IFES national movement, we invite you to take a look at the ideas below to see how you can follow our Catalysts’ examples by engaging with your university and your discipline:
- Visit the Engaging the University website for more information about resources and courses including a free, online three-part course, downloadable booklets and a Bible study guide.
- Ask your national movement if there are – or could be – Engaging the University programs or events in your country that can help you engage with the academic life of your university and help you integrate your Christian life with your academic studies.
- Read the IFES journal Word and World and subscribe to receive it regularly.
Apply to become a Catalyst
The LCI operates in two IFES regions: Latin America and Francophone Africa. We plan to open applications for a fourth cohort of Catalysts in early 2024.
